Gottifredi Maffioli was at the 62nd edition of the Genoa International Boat Show, September 22-27, in the Sailing World area with a new booth where it will present the company’s latest innovations in the Grand Prix, One Desing, Classic and Mooring lines.
For Gottifredi Maffioli, meeting its customers and partners was an exceptional opportunity to share opinions, ideas and discuss different topics, mainly those related to boating.

On the Wave of the future
In 2022, the theme of the event was “On the Wave of the Future,” a future that Gottifredi Maffioli imagines as sustainable, inclusive, and with ever-improving performance.
The Genoa International Boat Show is the flagship event for those in the boating industry, with exhibitors from all over the world.
The event covers an area of more than 200,000 square meters and can host 1,000 boats. Events, workshops and conferences on boating and the future were held during the six-day event.

New Gottifredi Maffioli catalogue
During the Genoa Boat Show, Gottifredi Maffioli presented its new catalogue with the latest innovations born from research and the latest technological developments that also result in the application of existing fibers in different areas.
One of these is Dyneema® XBO Technology, a special finishing that combines the excellent mechanical properties of Dyneema® SK78 fiber to the bending fatigue optimized XBO finishing to improve flexural strength. Gottifredi Maffioli has found in this material ideal characteristics for large diameter lines dedicated to Super Yachts, thanks to high durability and exceptional reliability.
Gottifredi Maffioli “Innovations & Customised Performance”
Studies and research into fibers and combinations to create the best possible ropes have led the company to create solutions for mooring Mega Yachts such as EVODOCK, a tapered one-piece with two different sections: H.T. Nylon for stretch and Dyneema® for high breaking loads, a Dyneema® mooring line that requires no shock absorber.
These innovative ropes are extremely lightweight, safe and stylish.
Race KPC, in the Grand Prix line, is a rope with a Dyneema core and a H.T. polyester cover that is very versatile and has good strength.
Powerhalyard 99, recommended for halyards on modern racer cruisers, is a line with high breaking load, great flexibility and excellent handling.
TD78 from the One Design line is also new: it is a line with a Dyneema® SK78 core with polyurethane coating and a Technora® and Dyneema® cover. Ideal for dinghy and “one design,” it is particularly suitable for up adjustments where high abrasion resistance is required.
